   David G. Roberts, 52, of Cresco, Iowa, died Thursday, November 1, 2007, at the Regional Health Services of Howard County in Cresco, IA, from kidney failure. 

      Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 5, 2007 at the Conway Funeral Home in Cresco, with burial in New Oregon Cemetery, in Cresco, IA. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday at the Conway Funeral Home in Cresco and an hour prior to services on Monday

    David Gregg Roberts was born September 18, 1955, in Cresco, IA, the son of Ralph D. and Elizabeth F. (Avery) Roberts.  He graduated school in Cresco then went on to join the U.S. Navy. 

     Survivors include his children: Johnny Roberts of Fort Dodge, IA; Daniel Roberts and Cynthia Roberts (friend Derek Deden) all of Cresco, IA; and Jennifer (Fiancée Troy Martin) of Decorah, IA; 2 grandchildren; three brothers: Ralph Jr. (Janice) Roberts of Gainesville, FL; Ronald (Yvonne) Roberts of Guttenburg, IA; and one sister: Joann (Robert) Swanell of Bloomington, MN.

     He was preceded in death by his parents.
