     Esther Bouska, age 88, died on Sunday, October 28, 2007, at the Evans Memorial Home in Cresco, IA.

     Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 2, 2007, at Notre Dame Church in Cresco, with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Schley. Friends may call from 5:00 P.M. until 8: 00 P.M. Thursday at the Conway Funeral Home in Cresco and an hour prior to Services on Friday. There will be a 7:00 P.M. Scripture service on Thursday.  Rev. Richard Ament officiated.  Gifts will be presented to the altar by Jodi, Julie, and Dominiq Bouska. Casket Bearers will be Tim Bouska, Tom Bouska, Dominiq Bouska, Jeff Kinney, Vern Trachta and Tim Fravel.

     Esther Anna Bouska was born on April 7, 1919 in Winneshiek County, IA, to Edward A. and Jennie M. (Bergman) Duneman.  She attended rural school near her home in the Ridgeway area.

     Esther was united in marriage to William F. Bouska on June 15, 1937 at Holy Cross Church in Schley.  To this union, children were born.  They farmed near Schley after marriage and lived there until 1982, when they moved into Cresco.  She enjoyed cooking, sewing, baking, embroidery, quilts, playing cards and bingo. 

   She is survived by her son: William E. Bouska; and her daughter: Kathleen Bouska both of Cresco; four grandchildren: Tim (Annie) Bouska of Rome, NY, Tom (Tamra) Bouska of Hampton, VA, Jodi Bouska (friend Jeff Kinney) of Elkton, MN and Julie Bouska of Cresco, IA; six great-grandchildren: Joshua, Jacob, Sky, T.J. Breanna, and Dominiq  Bouska; one brother Arnold Duneman of Cresco, IA, and one sister: Hazel Lewis of Greene, IA.

   Esther was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William F. in 1976; a daughter, Marion Scoles; four brothers: Kenneth, Earlen, Raymond, and Gaylen Duneman; four sisters: Lucille Gerber, Gladys Dvorak, Margaret Kach, and Irene Stinson.
